Tim Williams is a native of Illinois but has lived in the South for most of his life. He is a graduate of both SpartanburgHigh School and WoffordCollege, and has a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Tim has served as the pastor of RoebuckBaptistChurch since October 1995. He has pastored one other church in South Carolina and has served churches in South Carolina and Florida in youth ministry and associate pastor positions. Tim is active in the South Carolina Baptist Convention, having served on the Committee on Committees (twice) and on the Ministerial Advisory Committee for Charleston Southern University. He is presently serving on the South Carolina Baptist Executive Board. He was vice- president of the state Pastor’s Conference in 1998. He is also active in the Spartanburg County Baptist Network having served as Moderator for the Network and served as an officer of the State Alumni Association of Southwestern Seminary.
Tim and his wife Ryan have three grown children; Hudson, Candace and Preston. They enjoy spending time together as a family, and along with their commitment to their church, they are also active in sports and community life.
Rev. Ondra Black – Associate Pastor/ Senior Adults
Ondra was born in a small town outside of Shelby, NC and was saved at the age of 12 in WacoBaptistChurch during their August Revival. He graduated form WacoHigh School and attended Appalachian State University and graduated from EastCarolinaUniversity.
The Lord called him to preach at the end of his junior year. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. It was while he was there that he felt a call to missions and upon graduation he and his wife, Lillie, moved to Michigan where he served three churches for 15 years. They moved back to North Carolina for a brief stay before being called to Hope Baptist in Flanders, NJ where they spent the next 22 years.
While in NJ, he served Southern Baptists as a Trustee on LifeWay Christian Resources formerly the Baptist S.S. Board and held many leadership roles in the Association and State Convention. He still misses the wild turkey, deer and black bear in their backyard. He had the opportunity to minister through the IMB with our missionaries in the Philippines and St Lucia on two occasions. He retired and moved to Spartanburg where Roebuck Baptist invited him to serve as Associate Pastor relating to Senior Adults.
David and his wife Sandy began their ministry at RoebuckBaptistChurch in June of 1987. They moved to Roebuck from Tampa , FL., where they were high school sweethearts and married in 1983. David's ministries at RoebuckBaptistChurch consist of worship leader and director of all music activities as well as serving in other areas of the church. His passion for worship is that as worshipers the body of Christ would be confronted by God through His word and drawn by the Holy Spirit to know Him in a personal way.
RBC has a graded choir program from 4-year-olds through adults, including a Youth Choir, as well as several ensembles and a Handbell choir. The Sanctuary Choir is very active and sings weekly as well as putting on several programs each year. The Sanctuary Choir leads in worship every Sunday morning along with our Worship Team and orchestra, the Worship team leads in worship during the evening service.
David is a graduate of AndersonCollege and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal performance and a Masters of Music degree in choral conducting from the University of South Florida. He completed his work on a Doctorate of Worship Studies at the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies in June of 2004.

Chuck Miller was born in Mississippi but grew up in Spartanburg. He is a graduate of Westview Elementary. He then furthered his education by going to Dawkins and DormanHigh School. At Dorman he got the chance to play soccer, basketball, and ran cross-country. Chuck ended up going to Carson-NewmanCollege, which is located in Jefferson City, TN.
During Chuck's junior year at CNC he made a commitment to go into full-time ministry. He graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. January 2001, Chuck headed towards Texas to go to seminary not knowing what the Lord had in store for him at the end of his journey. The first day while Chuck was at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary a pretty young lady innocently turned around and shook Chuck's hand. That pretty young lady's name was Jill Harrington, who less than one year later would become Jill H. Miller. Chuck and Jill have been married for six years. They have one daughter, Addison, and another child on the way.
Chuck has been the Minister of Youth and College at RBC since May of 2004. Chuck has a true heart for youth and college students and for them to grow in their relationship with Christ. He loves to hang out with the youth and college students and is very excited about seeing what God has in store for the them at RBC.
Originally from Michigan, Randy is a graduate of WesternCarolinaUniversity where he graduated with a degree in Sports Administration. He is a Nationally Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has served as the Minister of Activities at RoebuckBaptistChurch since 1992. Randy has a deep excitement about helping people experience God in active and creative ways, and he is committed to the idea that God wants His people to be healthy, energetic, and excited about how He is working in their lives.
Randy coordinates the church's athletic activities, including bi-annual golf tournaments, volleyball, softball, and participation in other leagues. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Upward Basketball at Roebuck, a children's league that involves approximately 350 young people each year and includes other churches in the area. Upward is a vital outreach ministry that uses adult volunteers to teach basketball skills but, more importantly, expose people of all ages to godly life principles and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Randy also works as exercise therapist in cardiac rehabilitation with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. He and his wife Maria have two children, Jeanette and Aaron.
